THE WHO & WHY
Fragile Ocean was founded in 2003 by Brandon Lane to promote awareness of the threat posed to local and international reefs and shorelines by pollution and urban runoff.
Fragile Ocean has formed a team of people raised with Southern California beach sand between our toes that are dedicated to promoting a pristine ocean environment. We’ve witnessed firsthand the eco-devastation of urban runoff in Southern California and it is time to take steps to reverse this man-made damage. We’re hoping our efforts, combined with those of each of you reading this, will help foster change in the way we perceive and protect our coastal environment.
